Open for Business, A Give-a-Way…

etsy two

I have been working hard on getting my ETSY store up and running and really launched it this week with the start of my Facebook page …

I am excited to share it with you…the idea behind my shop is to include the postage on the card you purchase so you don’t even have to find a stamp when you are ready to send it…

ALSO, shipping is always free on your orders…cause well, who doesn’t LOVE free shipping…

it was a lot more work than I ever thought it would be…and I am so glad to be up and running…now, I just have to get better at taking product photos…

In honor of opening the shop I am giving away;

set of 4 cards…

a Mother’s Day card for the mother of your choice…

and a 10 dollar Starbuck’s gift card…

“I love getting cards in the mail like a fat kid loves cake!” the answer I received when I asked for the feelings people experience when they get a handwritten card in the mail.

Other responses were:
“It is like sharing a cup of coffee.”
“It is like a hug across the miles.”

Postage paid (US forever stamp already on the envelopes) cards make it easy for you let someone know you are thinking of them.

Whether it is to celebrate a birthday, for a friend, family member, or to celebrate Tuesday a card conveys; thought, intention, action, and care…

Nothing can compare to the feeling of discovery and adventure felt when you open a mailbox and see a card waiting for you.

Called; Happy Mail, Christmas in the Mailbox, A Special Treat, Sunshine, A Hug…a card can say; I love you, you are special, you are worthy of time and effort…

In order to kick things off in style I want to have a give-a-way…

a 4 card set personalized with your photos, and even colors you prefer…

DSCF4353 Just today I added a Mother’s Day card …if you order before Tuesday you will make it on time to give your mama a personalized card JUST FOR HER…

Enter the code

CARELESSLY

for 20% off any order…

To enter the give-a-way I would like you to do one thing (well, three things if we are being technical…and I know some of you are)

1. Think of someone in your life who needs encouragement…to know that they were thought of…

2. Write them a card or heck, a sheet of paper letting them know what they mean to you…

3. Comment on this post…tell me how it felt to write it…or leave me some feedback on my shop…I want it to be great and you can help…

4. optional…go and like the Facebook page so that you can be inspired to encourage…and of course be alerted to sales and the such…

I will choose a winner on Monday May 5th from the comments…for an extra entry share this post on your Facebook or Twitter page…Leave a separate comment for each place you share…please go and check out my shop at www.noexcusesencouragement.com

What a fabulous idea to have the postage already there! I am the worst about remembering postage! The blog looks great! Glad you got the formatting all worked out!

I try to randomly send notes of encouragement in the mail or just notes because it’s fun to get mail these days! It lifts my spirits just as much to be the sender as the recipient. Your business has encouraged me to get back into doing this

Great idea! I hope we never loose the lost art of sending cards – they are so special!

Such a great idea! Congrats on getting that Etsy shop going. I chose to write to a fellow-30-Day person. I feel way more connected to them even though I don’t know them. I feel like a new relationship will be started through this. I also feel quite accomplished even though it didn’t take very long. I love your cards! I hope whoever won the cards will treasure them as much as I did.

It worked now! 🙂 Earlier I wasn’t able to get this loading, it was like a mobile looking page even on my desktop (and nowhere to comment). Anyway, as I told you elsewhere… I have thrown out more than one already-written card in my life because it took too long to get around to finding a stamp. I love this idea and your cards are lovely! Best of luck to you!
